DV-alert Terms and Conditions
Privacy Notice to Students
The Privacy Notice at Schedule 1 of the National VET Data Policy sets out privacy information a student needs to know before they enrol with a registered training organisation (RTO). As an RTO, Lifeline Australia is responsible for providing this Privacy Notice to students and therefore encourages students to read the notice prior to enrolling in our courses.
Student Enrolments
All enrolments are subject to course availability and acceptance of enrolment application based on the student criteria on page four of DV-alert Pre-enrolment Course Information [991KB] available by selecting from the three-course packages above.
Students on a Visa
Lifeline Australia Ltd RTO 88036 is not registered under the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS). CRICOS is a register of Australian education providers that recruit, enrol and teach overseas students.
Therefore, dependent on students’ visa conditions, we may not be able to provide nationally recognised training and qualifications to students on a visa. Under the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 (ESOS Act), students studying in Australia on student visas must comply with visa conditions under Australian law.
This means that any students who are not Australian or New Zealand citizens must provide a copy of their passport and visa details to Lifeline Australia to obtain approval to register and complete DV-alert nationally accredited training. (Nationally Accredited Training entitles a student on successful completion to receive a Qualification).
Students who do not meet the visa requirements may enrol into a non-accredited DV-alert online course. Note these students will receive a certificate of completion, they will not receive a nationally recognised qualification.
Student Identification
All approved students will be required to provide proof of identification at the workshop or via email for elearning participants.
